About us
We are here to provide a space for our clients to feel seen and heard in their pursuit of wellbeing. We provide a research-informed, individualized approach to meet the unique needs of every child and family we see.
Our approach
We believe that we all have a natural desire for growth and authenticity and that children have a lot to teach us about our relationships to ourselves and others. We take a child-centered, attachment-informed approach, and meet each child and family where they currently are with a non-judgmental attitude of acceptance. Through the therapeutic relationship, we use playful and creative interventions to connect with and more deeply understand our client’s difficulties and to work toward improvement in functioning and relationships. We draw heavily from play therapy, expressive arts therapy, attachment-based, and trauma-informed interventions in addition to more traditional talk therapy approaches. We develop individualized treatment plans and tailor our approach while ensuring that interventions are backed by research and that clients know what to expect every step of the way.
